In this class, we will learn about the posing and pinning of sunset moths. This class is designed for beginners with an interest in art and entomology. No matter the experience level, all are welcome! 

Students will learn everything they need to create their very own preserved butterfly or moth, from proper hydration, specimen handling, to posing, mounting, and finishing. Students will watch a demonstration, then proceed to work with their very own sunset moth, and will be able to position it to their liking. Students will go home with their custom-made creations, a shadowbox display, instructions for maintaining their pieces, and newfound or nourished love of taxidermy.
