TAXIDERMY

Taxidermy is uniquely positioned as one of the most effective tools for wildlife conservation. Conservation is not something exclusive to organizations and academia - history proves that the consistent actions of everyday people can create meaningful change. Whether you’re looking for a fantastic work of nature as home decor, or to harness the transformative power of storytelling for an educational exhibit, I would love to create something for you.

Thank you for considering my taxidermy services! I specialize in bird taxidermy and small mammal taxidermy, for both artistic and scientific appreciation. All taxidermy is done by me, Divya, and I take great joy in being fully immersed in every step of of the process! No matter how simple or elaborate your project may be, I work with every client to capture the awe and wonder of wildlife. Please email me to get started.

Prices for taxidermy can vary widely by the complexity, material and specimen cost, and labor involved-a small bird in a lush habitat may start at $500, while a larger piece, like a replica flamingo, can start at $3000. Generally, a 50% deposit is required to begin work, with the balance due upon completion and client approval. In order to respect my time, and the efforts of my paying clients, I cannot begin work on any projects without a deposit. This includes exploratory research, procuring specimens, sketches, etc. Work can take 6-18 months, depending on my workload, material availability, and complexity of the project.

Please read the terms and conditions-a signed contract and deposit is mandatory for work to begin.

You can view a gallery of my work on my portfolio page and get a more immediate look at my current projects on Instagram. I am always open to hearing from anyone who would like to explore the beautiful potential of wildlife art!
